Chuck was always a good friend and we never lost touch from our first meeting at Edison Junior High School.  Memories are abundant; from double dating at the Star Light and fogging up the windows to watching the submarine races at those falls in that park off of Capital Drive down by the Rambler plant (anyone remember that park?); or cursing Wisconsin Ave to the turnaround down by the lake (we used Chucks fathers 62 BelAire 4 door which we would always put moons on to make it look cool).  Cursing one night we did find that urban ledgend from American Graffiti… the blond goddess in the white T-Bird and she even had a girlfriend.   We also did the run to Marty Zipco’s Ball Room (sp?) and the minor bars like the Thirsty Eye or the Sportsman’s Club, around Racine (those Racine girls were fun).  Then there was the Junior Prom when I got my driver’s license just a week prior so we could use my brother-in-laws Silver Blue ’58 Impala, 348 with 3 deuces, Hurst 3 speed and it would lay rubber for a block, how cool were we! There are more stories some a little too tainted for publication but I would probably be willing to share after a couple of beers at the reunion.

Later in life after we both came back from Nam, Chuck a cop and me pushing paper somewhere, we would get together and catch up over a bottle of good sipping whiskey.  Good times never to be forgotten, so artimdorous (a salute we picked up in history class) to my good friend Chuck.  Love yah guy!

So sorry to hear about Chuck Henn's passing.  He was a major part of my high school years.  Still have a few pictures from Prom.   He was a special guy and such a good person.  I will always remember him.

The last thing I ever would have thought he was going to be a Cop in Milwaukee .   I'll  always remember him as a fun loving happy kid.

I ran iinto him in the 90's in the Air Guard.  One of my brothers dated his older sister I think.
