Richard passed on July 8th after a long struggle with heart problems.  He was one of my best friends and best man at my wedding.  We reconnected several years ago and had been doing breakfast every few weeks, found out about his passing after checking obituaries when he didn't return my voice message.  He was a kind and gentle soul who had the worst golf slice I have ever seen.  Wish I had reconnected sooner, I will miss him.
