I most remember the plays that were put on by Shirley Sherwood.  They were spectacular in set design, costuming, music and over all pageantry.  The students had to put their all into the productions and it showed.  These plays and Shirley Sherwood helped me decide to major in Speech/Theatre and English with a minor in social studies as I went on to teach in young adulthood.
